As pointless as they were, I always wanted my mum to buy a soda stream!!! Never happened though. But now, The Sodastream has been given a makeover and relaunched for the 21st century. Gin and Tonics anytime!
What do you do with 100 Courgettes?
We planted loads of courgette plants earlier this year thinking some wouldn't grow. They all grew. Massively!Plus, I had no idea each courgette plant would produce so many vegetables! So now we have literally tons of them!
So far, I have made courgette cake, lemon courgettes, and courgette fritters. I can tell I'm going to maybe get sick of the sight of them! In the meantime, anyone have any nice recipies?

From the website that brought us sweet potato ice cream...
On a day as hot as today, who could resist this delicious combo; watermelon sorbet. I think Lindsey would like?
I've blogged about the wonderful recipies on Seasalt with food before, they never fail to disapoint.
Meringue gang
Is it just me or is every trendy bakery in North London a little bit obsessed with giant meringues at the mo? I think yes, but who cares? look at these beauties... hello amazingness! I'm not sure I could eat a whole one for fear of my teeth falling out, but don't they look pretty?? Make some now with this recipe

Just when I thought I'd gotton over my obsession with bleach blonde pixie cuts (Thank you Agnes) along comes Carey Mulligan with her amazing new Baftas barnet!
February blues have kicked in this week, so i'm getting especially tempted to go for the chop (and maybe a bottle of peroxicide to boot)

Anyone for crochet?

My blog has been severly neglected for the past few weeks and I'll tell you why;
I'm addicted to crochet right now! Call me an old lady if you like, but it is seriously theraputic, I do it on the bus to and from work and I swear I'm less stressed for it (usually I would be tempted to kill someone after a packed, noisy bus journey.) I don't even care If I receive strange looks a plenty.
My mum tought me a few weeks ago and since then I have been trying to make a large afgan throw, which will probably take weeks more but I am determinded not to shelf this project.
