September nights...

The view from my window this evening definately screams Summer is over. It's rainy & cold and getting dark already.

But I'm excited anyway for autumn for a several reasons:

  • I start my Web design course this month

  • I go to Paris soon!

  • I can't wait to take some lovely autumnal photos on my new Diana Camera!

  • Soon it will be Halloween, then bonfire night, then Christmas!

Diana Camera... I miss real photos!

I've just bought a Diana camera from Amazon and can not wait for it to arrive!!

I've always loved the soft hazy images that this cheap little camera produces, an effect that can not be replicated with a digital camera however hard I try.

People never print photos anymore and I miss that. Remember the excitement that came with getting your holiday photos back? All the little memories that came wooshing back after a week of being back at home. I loved that feeling! It's just not the same when you have already seen a picture the moment you take it. Why do we have to have everything instantly? I love the wait, and the suprise of seeing images in a different way to how you saw them in reality. Am I alone in this?

Anyway, It's my intention to take it with me to Paris next month and take lots of dreamy photos of the city in the autumn.
