Brighton Brunch and Snoopers Paradise

Off to Brighton on Saturday with the lovely Miss Whiteford! I can't wait to hit the Lanes! There is on one shop in particular that I'm really looking forward to, it's called Snoopers Paradise and basically consists of dozens of individual antique/vintage/junk stalls all under one roof. Last Autumn when I went to Brighton with my Mum, we spent hours in there!

I also can't wait (If Lindsey's up for it) to try out 'Table', recently voted one of the best places to go for bruch by Stylist Magazine! Mmmmmm pancakes and bacon....

Bell Jars

I've always found bell jars fascinating. There's just something creepy yet beautiful about them. Maybe they just remind me of old victorian houses and things being trapped inside. Anyway enough of me being grim! this was supposed to be a nice post. I think these images below are beautiful.

Chair lust...

Oh how I'd love a retro velvet lounge chair in my flat. There's just something so 'boudoiresque' about them. They remind me of all the 1960s films I love, I can just imagine Holly Golightly having one in her appartment. One day I'll get one, but in the meantime I'm lusting over these gorgeous little gems...

A little bird house in your soul...

I really love antique bird cages at the moment. I especially like the idea of putting jewelly in them or plants. I'd like to try and find a wooden one painted white. They are just so ornate.

Today I love...Portobello road

Got up bright and early this morning to go to Portobello road market and picked up these gorgeous victorian marmalade and paste pots. Think i may make a candle out of the smaller one.

I also picked up some really pretty old glass bottles which look so nice on my kitchen window.
